Alright so that all happened. 

Hey all. Uh, Fall semester sucked, so I kinda went AWOL without a word really. At the moment I'm kinda out of a job but w/e. Figuring things out as I go along. I kinda just want to mention some ideas for projects I'm working on, or whatever. 

-Pokemon-

1. Re:Terror (Expected Length: 20 Chapters)
   

In time, one will find that the truth they seek is not one they're comfortable finding...

    I've actually been working on the entire Terror storyline as a whole, both before what we know as the story and afterwards. In all honesty, I don't like the Terror Story, and kinda wish to re-write it all and make it a smaller, more compact story with a lot more potential. 
    Re:Terror would follow the same story as Team Terror/David's Daycare, but in a more coherent and shorter plotline. I always intended Team Terror to be a long story, but looking back, I feel that was just giving me time to fuck up. When I start releasing chapters of Re:Terror, I want each chapter to show and tell exactly what I want the reader to know every second through the story. 
    There's also so other changes planned for it that 

2. Empire of Fire (Expected Length: 10 Chapters)
   

They believed the Empire's flame would burn forever, leading to an endless prosperity that no one could stop. Of course, in the end, this was impossible...

    There's a lot about the Fire Tribes and their origins that I've wanted to work on, but this is planned to be a series of 10 stories I feel really NEED to be told for Re:Terror to make sense, but other than that, I won't be adding much else. 

3. Lumiose Ring Killer (Expected Length: 10 Chapters)
   

"Good Evening Lumiose, I'm your host, Leo Mathieu! Tonight on Channel 7 News, we'll be talking about the 11th death in a string of murders along Kalos, taking place inside our fair city of Lumiose!"

    This is the 6th gen story I've been wanting to do for a while. A young man, Riley Cavalier, is faced with the death of his Aunt at the hands of the notorious 'Ring Killer'. He's the only one who's seen the man in person, and after a fated encounter, he has a lead that no one else believes. 
    At first, it seems impossible, but Riley is visited by a man claiming to know his father, with a Lucario like no pokemon he's ever met in tow with the man. 

4. Pride of Alola (Expected Chapters: 10 to 15)
    

"I think it's safe to say that I have no idea how type-match-ups work man"

    7th Gen has been one of my favorite pokemon games of recent history to play through. Of course, I can't deny the want to make a full commitment and make a series about my character's adventure through the Alola region, hoping to one day become Champion. 
    Yuriko (Yuri) Fidèle has wanted his whole life nothing more than to be a world-class pokemon champion. After moving to Alola, he gave up that dream, before hearing of the newly-formed league and the tournament they host to make someone champion. Excited, Yuri heads out to make his dream a reality! 

5. Darkness Awakens (Expected Chapters: 10) 
   

Orre wasn't always like this, there was a time when the Shadow Hunters didn't reign, a time when great heroes traveled the world, fighting against those that opposed peace...

    This is a project that reflect a possible 'future' for Re:Terror. It takes place following a descendant of a certain Infernape, as she tries to figure out what turned the world on its head and consumed the better half of the world in an endless darkness. 
    This is mostly a fun-project I just want to do personally. 

6. V of the Dead (Expected Chapters: 7 or more)
   

"You know how there's ghost types? Well, sometimes there's just 'Ghosts', and they need to be put to rest, or they'll disrupt the lives of the living. So, that's why I'm here. Call me V of the Dead, or just V"

    Sometime in the future of the Re:Terror universe, our hero falls, unable to rest. However, instead of becoming a restless spirit, V is taken in and used by a Lord of Destruction to guide the fated spirits to their natural end. In exchange, he may go on living, and maybe one day, return to the life he's lost. 
    However, like all those who pass on, all V remembers is that his death was painful, that he had a family though exact names and ages are vague, and that he was not a hero in life. And maybe now, he might not even be able to make up for his life. 

7. Iron Orre Relay (Expected Chapters 15) 
   

"For your information, the prize money is the least interesting thing about this relay, Emission boy..."

    This is going to be a bit confusing, so bare with me.
    IOR is an alternate reality to Re:Terror. Of course, this means that characters we know and love will appear, but in altered ways. This reality evolved with only Pokemon, however technology has stalled since the times of the Old West.
    Orre, the expansive empire that just broke away from Unova, is hosting a region-wide race to lay claim to the desert. However, there are those aware of the secrets of Orre, and wish to use the power hidden about the region to reign over the world. 
    A young naive Typhlosion with a crude attitude joins an agent of the Ruilin Family, with one goal in mind: Keep these secrets out of those the hands of those that would abuse them. 

-RWBYverse-

1. Angels of Vale (Expected Length: 7 or 8)
   

In Vale, there are many regular citizens who are preyed upon by the strong... but luckily, Grimm aren't the only thing the Hunters hunt

    This is going to be a side-series to ANGL. As I'm not the only owner of the four titular characters of the series, this will be pretty much my way to write stories about them freely. Of course, none of these will be canon unless the creator of said character wants them to be, so, eh. It'll be more for fun. Plus this will feature characters from the next two series as well. 

2. VLUE (Expected Length: 10)
   

Varian Jonanne Divitiae was born into poverty, but destiny had other plans. His lineage would forever be smeared by the fate standing before him.

    VLUE already has the first chapter out, but I might re-release it if I get bored. However, this story will follow the ancestor of Audrey Divitiae, telling the tale of his steps up to glory as the head of industry in Vale (For a time) and how he became the man so many feared. 

3. Clear Destiny (Expected Length: 10 to 15) 
   

The beige haired boy looked up in awe and fear, having fallen back onto the ground in horror. Standing before him was the most imposing man he'd ever met, a look on his face that reflected the very fear the Grimm inspired. However, it wasn't him that brought true terror into his heart. Standing aside him was a woman with a bright blue haze around her, her long, white hair floating about with a pair of glowing, white eyes locked on him. 
    They had just asked if they could adopt him.

 
    All I can say is that it takes place after an unknown amount of time in the future of ANGL, where a young man names Corazon finds himself with no memories, adopted by two ex-hunters, and being sent off to an estranged academy outside the walls of any nation.
    And, sadly, Corazon can't focus for two seconds with how many women are assaulting him. In a good way! And bad.

Alright, here we go. 

    I want you all to know that, honestly, things are slow. Not really a bad thing. I don't want any of my projects to die out. Even if no one comments, even if it takes a while, I will get every one of these stories done. 

    That being said, I want to talk about writing, how to write, how I write, and what this means for my stories. 

1. Writing

    This is something I have accepting can be a chore at times, and of course, doing it like a job can be no fun. Making time to write is one of my biggest problems. READING others writing can become a strain to, not that I don't want to, but because at times in life I can't focus. 

    I believe whatever attention thing I have is just a lack of, er, drive? I guess that's the best word for it. As I am currently between jobs, I've been working on my stories and trying to get back into the swing. I guess, honestly, it's just been a while, and there's not much to really add to the immediate story. 

2. How to Write

    Something I've wanted to talk about is how one should write. Too often do I see paragraphs stuck together, or improper spacing/indentation. Idk if anyone doesn't know this, but basically the only real big thing that makes it hard to read stories is when things get confusing. 

    (Not saying that I'm above this or anything, fuck I've had times where my stories literally make no sense because I misspelled a word) 

    Anyways, if two people are talking, they each need a paragraph. Like, here: 

    "Hey lol I'm funny" Scott said with a huff. "Yeah you are funny" Neil replied. 

    Yeah no that needs two paragraphs. Here's the correction: 

    "Hey lol I'm funny" Scott said with a huff.
    
    "Yeah you are funny" Neil replied. 

    So yeah that's all on that. 

3. How I Write

    Personal Stuff: 

    David's Journey-Prologue was submitted in 2010. I was a freshman in Highschool and very lonely, tbh. I also was really confused about what I wanted to do, and had no clear idea. Back then, Legos and my Star Wars toys were how I got out my creativity, but it became taboo to play with stuff like that. Idk, it just was, Highshool was weird. 

    Also, little background about that shit: David's Daycare 7 or 8 was the first story NOT written on the notepad of my iPod Touch. THAT'S RIGHT. I SAT IN MY LITTLE BEDROOM AND WROTE THESE FIRST STORIES ON MY IPOD TOUCH. Little ole' HeroDrake tappin' away on his iTouch. 

    *Ahem* Point is, I've always used writing as an outlet for things. Stress, copping, anger. It was never meant to be something I did for fun. Which, I guess, is why I only ever do it in spurts and never look back. At the same time, I've wanted to tell the Terror story for a long time. Though, I think I could tell all of TT in 30 chapters, but there's a lot of stuff I'd like to explore with characters to flesh them out more. 

    So writing is just how I have fun and deal with my situations in real life. Now that I'm an adult, it's... it's weird, I dunno. I got so much to do and so little time, plus so many things to keep up with. 

    That's that, I suppose. 

4. Stories

    Nothing's changed. I'll have TT done when I get done with it.

Hey guys it's Herodrake with an update on shit and what not. 

As of Wednesday I am out of school for the summer (Hurray College sucks). Which means I can get back around to the things I want to do! Like writing and what not. 

This semester was way harder than I thought it was going to be. Honestly I barely survived as much as I did. At any rate, I'm going to start uploading again once I get some shit done. No promises on release dates because I always screw that sort of stuff up.

Also! I'm going to catch up on everything after typing this, so don't be alarmed if you see a bunch of messages from me pop up on shit that's been released some time ago. I'm actually really happy that I get to read all y'all's stories again!

Sorry for the lack of activity, but like many of you I've returned to the institution of stupidity known as school. (Unlike most of you, I now pay thousands of dollars to get crap from teachers a semester)

Anyways, I'm making this journal to say that I've gotten some time back to write a bit more, and that I have a huge plan for Team Terror as a series. 

As it stands, I have zero time right now between work and what not, but hopefully I'll still be able to reply to things and comment on works.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on much, just kinda been out of it to be honest. 

Decided to work on some of my stories, it's been eating up my free-time and honestly that's all I want to do right now. 

If you all didn't know, which I'm sure by now you guys do, a great, amazing man died recently. Monty Oum was a dude I've looked up to for a long time, and... bah...

Our friend, inspiration and co-worker Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:34 PM surrounded by people who loved him very much. Ten days ago Monty suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Although he fought bravely, his body was not able to recover. During his time in the hospital he was well cared for and never in pain at any time.
Monty is survived by his wife Sheena, his father Mony, his brothers Woody, Sey, Chivy and Neat, and his sisters Thea and Theary, as well as a countless number of fans and friends. We were so proud to be a part of his life and we will miss him greatly.
Your generosity during the hours after the public statement on Friday will help his family deal with the costs of his care and his passing. You made an incredible difference during a

Personally, I'm not even close to the best dude with handling death, just... he was an awesome animator and because of some mistake he's gone. 

Right now, my way of remembering is just writing more and drawing... that's all.
